"Would you please welcome with me... From Vernon, BC... NEW RELEASE!"
(thunderous applause)
One door closes and another door opens. Paul and Rick would like to extend the invitation to one and all to listen as they continue a fine tradition of a capella berbershop-style singing with two new faces, Kris and Brian. New Release can be heard singing Christmas tunes in the Vernon area this season, and will be pleased to sing for you in the New Year also! Stay tuned to further developments!

It is a common phrase, "all good things must come to an end." We knew it wouldn't be forever, but in some ways, we didn't anticipate it being this soon. On July 1, 2013, Some Other Time will no longer be performing. Our tenor, Dan, has decided that he needs to focus his energies elsewhere for a time, and it's really hard singing in the Barbershop style as a trio (good-bye seventh chords, chinese ninths, etc.) It's been a fun ride, and we want to thank everyone who has taken time out from their busy lives to listen to us for a bit.
We have a couple more sing-outs between now and then, though, so if you haven't heard us before, or want one last chance to do so, then check out our schedule below.
From all of us, to all of you, may the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, and until we meet again, may He hold you in his hands.

Who We Are, and Why We Do What We Do
We are Some Other Time. We are (from right to left on the header graphic above):
Paul Hunter (Baritone), Dave Lewis (Bass), Rick Hembruch (Lead) and Dan Bragg (Tenor).
We started singing together near the end of 2008, in preparation for the Barbershop Harmony Society Evergreen District Division 1 competition, which was held in March 2009 in Vernon, hosted by the Vernon Timbretones Chorus. We placed first in the Novice Quartet competition, and have been singing together ever since.
We are a registered quartet with the Barbershop Harmony Society. While most of what we sing is in the Barbershop style, it's not all that we sing. However, we do love singing, and we strive to produce a sound that is among the best in the North Okanagan, and we invite you to find out for yourself… Some Other Time!

Where will you find us?
Well, you will still find us aimlessly wandering various halls, or singing with other groups. What a great introduction to...
NEW RELEASE!
Rick and Paul have joined with Kris and Brian to form New Release. Be on the lookout for them as they perform in and around Vernon during the Christmas season!
